Speaker Biography (Thomas Becker)

Prof. Dr. Thomas Becker graduated at the university of Bremen/Germany in 1995. Subsequently he joint DaimlerChrysler Research and Technology (Munich/Germany), which became EADS Innovation Works in 2000. There he has been acting as researcher, key technology area manager for microsystems, electronics and microelectronics and as manager for sensor related topics. Currently he is focussing on energy harvesting and wireless sensing. In addition, since 2003 he is lecturer at the university of Isny/Germany. He is author of more than 60 publications, holds about 20 patents, acts as editor for scientific journals and served as chairman for international conferences.
