Flexible AMOLED, Flexible Life! (Printed Electronics Europe 2017)

ITRI has developed a foldable on-cell touch AMOLED based on its FlexUPTM technology with high flexibility, lightweight and thin characteristics which make it superior over conventional glass display. The inward folding radius of the flexible on-cell Touch AMOLED is as small as 3mm with a high sensitivity touch performance at a border error smaller than 1.5mm, center error smaller than 1mm and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) greater than 20 measured by Linear Tester. This flexible on-cell touch AMOLED can be used to enhance user interface and develop remarkable novel applications such as foldable device which combines a mobile phone, when folded, and a tablet, when unfolded.
