Speaker Biography (Hiroki Maeda)

Dr. Hiroki Maeda is a graduate of Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he received his Doctor of Engineering in Self Organizing Molecular Semiconductors under the supervision of Prof. Jun-ichi Hanna. Prior to his graduate work, Hiroki joined Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) in 1991 as a researcher in R&D Center developing printing-oriented novel LCD devices, such as PDLCs, Plastic LCDs. After 5 years involvement in development of backplane for Plasma Display Panel, he started to study on organic semiconductive material from 1998. He is in charge of R&D on plastic electronics, especially, device physics of OLED and OTFT.
