Speaker Biography (Wei Zhou)

Dr. Zhou Wei obtained his BEng and MSc degrees on Air-conditioning and Refrigeration in 2000 and 2004 respectively, and received his PhD degree on Solar Energy and Wind Energy Studies in 2007 from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Zhou joined ASTRI as senior Engineer in 2009. He is extensively involved in the research of renewable energy applications (especially solar and wind energy) and building energy studies. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 technical papers and two technical books. He also has completed a number of consultancy projects, mainly in renewable energy applications and building energy/HVACR system studies.
