Speaker Biography (Morgan Pattison)Dr. Morgan Pattison is Senior Technical Advisor to the U.S. DOE Solid State Lighting Program. Dr. Pattison has been with the DOE SSL for 8 years managing R&D, developing SSL technology roadmaps, interfacing with industry stakeholders, and providing strategic direction. Dr. Pattison has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara Company Profile (Solid State Lighting Services) The Department of Energy Solid State Lighting Program has supported the development of solid state lighting technology for the last 14 years. The DOE SSL Program supports energy savings through support of: R&D on efficient lighting technologies, SSL manufacturing R&D, and market technology advancements, such as laboratory testing, product quality reporting, field demonstrations, and technical education. |
