Speaker Biography (Arved C Huebler)Born in 1960, Arved Huebler studied Physics in Heidelberg and received his Ph.D. in Berlin. He worked several years at Bertelsmann AG, Germany, one of the largest media companies worldwide as senior manager for technology. In 1997, he was appointed to a professorship at Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany. Arved Huebler has over 100 publications, holds several patents and was chair of several international conferences. He was founding board member of the OEA, the international Organic Electronics Association. He is engaged in several start-up companies focused on printed electronics. Company Profile (Chemnitz University of Technology) The Institute for Print and Media Technology as part of Chemnitz University of Technology pmTUC has more than 50 employees. It is one of the worldwide leading institutes for research and education in advanced printing and media technologies. It offers an English Study program in Print and Media Technology and has presented several interesting research results like the first mass printed electronic circuitry and the first mass printed solar cell on paper. |
