Speaker Biography (Hohyun Lee)

Hohyun Lee joined the department of Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara University as an assistant professor, after he received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2009. He is leading the Heat Transfer Lab, where he explores heat transfer phenomena in nanostructure for thermal energy harvesting and storage, optimization of sustainable energy system, and energy efficient building materials. He received his S.M. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2005, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University in 2003.
