Paul Weaver is principal research scientist with the UK's National Physical Laboratory multi-functional materials research group. Research interests include the development of novel electromechanical devices and the application of piezoelectrics and ferroelectrics for energy harvesting, sensing and actuation. He is a visiting Reader at Southampton University and holds an MA in Natural Science from Cambridge University, and a PhD from Southampton University. He is a chartered engineer and member of the IET.
