Novel Thermosetting Stretchable Film For Printed Electronics (Printed Electronics Europe 2020)

Mr Andy Behr, Technology Manager
Panasonic Electronic Materials
United States

Presentation Summary

This presentation will provide an overview of a novel, thermosetting (non-silicone) stretchable polymer film technology. These new materials feature high temperature resistance (>260C), ultra-low hysteresis, good elongation and excellent moisture resistance. The presentation will include a review of proof of concept constructions enabled by this technology employing a variety of conductors (copper, Ag paste and liquid metals and combinations thereof) and hybrid designs assembled with SAC305 SMT processes.
