In 1995 he was awarded Ph.D. from Freie Universität Berlin. From 1996 to 1999 he held a post-doc position at the University of Tokyo. He joined TU Berlin/Fraunhofer IZM in 2002. His activities focus around embedding technologies in flexible and rigid printed circuit boards (EU Project SHIFT, TIPS) and development of stretchable electronic systems (EU Project STELLA and PLACE.it) Company Profile (Fraunhofer IZM)Fraunhofer-IZM, is part of the Fraunhofer Society, a non-profit organization comprising 60 autonomous institutes in different technical and societal fields with around 12000 employees.
