Speaker Biography (Wayne Wang)

Dr. Wang has been a member of the Ford Motor Company Manufacturing and Supply Chain Systems team since 2001. In his current and previous positions with Ford, he has been in charge of developing business case and technology strategy for the Stamping Business Division. This initiative has produced several RFID pilots including WIP error-proofing, mobile asset tracking, and automatic inventory tracking systems.
 
Dr. Wang had previously been working as a registered Civil Engineer prior to joining Ford, where he did consulting work in a variety of industries including construction, transportation, and public utility industries. His education includes a MS and Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Alaska and MBA from the University of Washington. He is also a certified Project Management Professional by Project Management Institute.
