Microgrid for a Future Lunar Base

NASA's plan for its concept Artemis lunar base is that it will serve as a technology proving ground for the eventual human exploration of Mars. The base camp concept consists of a habitation unit — complete with room for up to four astronauts — as well as the potential for separate mining and fuel processing. Early Artemis missions will include short stays at the base camp with the goal to build up to stays of two months at a time.

One of the Largest Ever Sustainable Aviation Fuel Deals

DHL Express and Neste have announced a significant step towards decarbonizing aviation logistics by expanding their existing cooperation with a new strategic collaboration. In the next five years, Neste will supply DHL with approximately 320,000 tons (400 million liters) of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The agreement is Neste's largest for Sustainable Aviation Fuel to date and one of the largest sustainable aviation fuel agreements in the aviation industry.

Global Energy Storage First Major Investment Port of Rotterdam

Global Energy Storage, which launched in May this year, announces its first major investment at Europoort in the Port of Rotterdam. It is buying an interest in part of the assets of the Stargate Terminal from Gunvor Group and will develop more than 20 hectares at the heart of the port.
