On April 8 2021 Ynvisible hosted a joint webinar with Evonik and Epishine, covering how printed batteries and organic photovoltaic cells can be combined with its low-cost, low-power electrochromic displays to produce multiple consumer-facing applications.

On February 2nd 2021, Epishine announced the launch of its first product and provided some further details regarding manufacturing methodology and features. They also provided details of some commercial partnerships.

Epishine have developed small organic solar cells that supply a small amount of power harvested from ambient light. They are thus targeting low-power IoT applications.
