Cyclic Materials is a rare earth magnet recycler founded in 2021 and based in Ontario, Canada. Cyclic Materials recovers rare earth oxides from end-of-life magnets using patented Mag-Cycle℠ and REEPure℠ technologies - a hydrometallurgical extraction process. Rare earth magnets are sourced from manufacturing scrap (swarf), EV rotors, wind turbine generators, and electronics waste.

HyProMag is a spin-out from the University of Birmingham, founded in 2018 and commercializing short-loop NdFeB magnet recycling. HyProMag uses patented hydrogen-processing technology to separate valuable rare earth alloys as powders from waste material, which it subsequently reprocessed to form new NdFeB magnets.
