TactoTek
They combine 3D printing (extrusion of thermoplastics) with dispensing of conductive paste (250um nozzle). The interconnects are large/wide therefore not all ICs will be compatible. This production speed is also low so it is best for low volume but high value, or prototyping.

Cartesian Co
They combine 3D printing (extrusion of thermoplastics) with dispensing of conductive paste (250um nozzle). Cartesian claims that 'it has never seen useful demos' and does not think that Voxel8 can print 'actual circuit boards' and that their approach is mostly based on 'interconnects' over 3D printed plastic objects. These use particle-laden inks that Cartesian thinks are supplied by 'Mitsubishi Inks'.

Voxel8
Voxel8 made at splash at CES 2015 when they unveiled their new 3D printer, the first of its kind, that is capable of 3D printing objects made from both plastics and conductive inks. This will spark an explosion of interest in 3D printed electronics in 2015.
