Presentation Summary

In this presentation, we will discuss the different research options taken at imec to address these challenges towards a cost-effective industry-compatible integrated organic TFT technology. A focal point of our integration work is the development of a five mask-step back-channel etch process that resembles the standard a:Si process flow of display fab industry. We will describe the options taken to define an-industry compatible process flow and discuss their impact on organic TFT performance, yield and reproducibility, thereby revealing the potential of these tracks for industrial applications.
