Speaker Biography (Michael L Chabinyc)

Michael L. Chabinyc is a Senior Member of Research Staff at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). He received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Dayton in Ph.D. in chemistry from Stanford University. He was a National Institute of Health post-doctoral research fellow at Harvard University.
 
At PARC, he is studying the fundamental properties of organic transistors and working on the development printed active-matrix thin-film transistor backplanes for flexible displays. He has published more than 40 journal articles in the areas of gas-phase ionic chemistry, microfluidics, molecular electronics, and organic electronics. Dr. Chabinyc is an inventor on over a dozen patents in the areas of organic electronics and bioanalytical devices.
