For over 30 years, PET polyester films have remained the substrate of choice for most Flexible / Printed Electronics applications, primarily because PET offers a unique blend of commercial availability, performance, and cost. Recent device innovations require material suppliers to deliver improved functionality. This presentation will provide updates on several PET polyester film substrate developments.

Speaker Biography (Scott E Gordon)

Scott Gordon is currently New Business Development Manager and Flexible Electronics Segment Manager for DuPont Teijin Films. He received a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Lafayette College, and he has over 30 years with the DuPont Company. During his DuPont career, he has held numerous Sales, Sales Management, and New Business Development positions within several DuPont businesses, including Electronics, Displays, Holographics, Advanced Fiber Systems, and since 2013, Polyester Films. He is a member of the IPC Printed Electronics Management Council Steering Committee, and he currently serves on several IPC Printed Electronics Standards Development subcommittees.
