Thermoelectric Applications - the Reality Check of a Promise on the Road to Commercialization (Energy Harvesting and Storage USA 2011)

Juergen Moors is Senior Manager of Thermoelectrics at BASF Future Business in Germany and is the leader of BASF's Thermoelectric Project. Jürgen studied at the University of Leuven in Belgium, earning his Masters in Chemical Engineering. He also earned a M.B.A. at the University of Antwerp Management School in Belgium. From 2000 to 2002, Juergen worked for Bayer in Belgium and was responsible for the maintenance organization of a polymer plant. From 2002 to 2003, he was Department Head with Capsugel in Belgium. In 2003, he joined BASF managing different responsibilities between 2003 and 2007 in the Amine Production Cluster including asset manager, plant manager, quality manager and start-up manager. In 2007, he joined the Acrylic Acid Cluster Team and was in charge of construction and start-up of a new plant. In 2010, he moved to Germany and took on his current role in BASF Future Business.
