Fraunhofer ENAS in Chemnitz focuses on research and development in the fields of smart systems integration by using micro and nano as well as printing technologies. The implementation of different devices consisting of different materials play an important role. The integration of nano materials as well as printed functionalities causes new challenges and requires new approaches in terms of reliability, testability, design and security. Our product and service portfolio covers in printed functionalities antenna systems and customized battery solutions. These primary battery systems are tweaked towards high voltages (up to 30 V) and low internal resistances (<10 Ω ).
