IQM develops superconducting-based qubits and is targeting applications including climate change simulations, drug discovery, and finance. The company was founded in 2018 and was spun out of Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.

IQM is developing superconducting quantum computing hardware, selling hardware for on-premises access to a full-stack solution.
