Owl Autonomous Imaging

Long-wave infrared (LWIR) has historically been too expensive for widespread integration into vehicles. However, as a truly passive sensing technology, it offers widespread benefits in the pursuit of safer, more automated cars. Owl's objective is to show that LWIR sensing is an affordable and necessary technology for automakers which can significantly improve their nighttime sensing capabilities.
