After heading up the product development team for the UK's market leading real time information system provider, Richard co-founded Cloud Amber in 2006. Cloud Amber offers a range of products and services initially to the Urban Traffic Management Control market and now Intelligent Transport Systems as a whole. In four years Cloud Amber has grown to market leader position within UTMC and boasts customers including for Traffic Wales, Travel South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire Metro. Richard is skilled and experienced in product design, on-shore & off-shore outsourcing, intellectual property management, product management and all other aspects of product and business growth.

Cloud Amber products enable Traffic Managers to model, monitor and control the environmental effects of travel as well as reducing congestion to maximise the use of a limited road network. From this same data source Cloud Amber provide our Voyager products and services relating to accidents, roadworks, congestion, air quality and the state of the road network in general to empower road users to make informed travel decisions to avoid congestion hotspots.

 

Additionally, the Cloud Amber experience in technically complex and demanding environments to new markets with innovative ideas. Our Echo products are specifically designed to address the particular requirements of Emergency Services in delivering fast efficient services when required, where required.
