Action Activated Sensor Solutions - Technology and Market (Printed Electronics Europe 2008)

CEO Lic. Mikael Gulliksson has been active in media technology research focusing on business models for interactive paper and magazines, smart packaging and digital media solutions. Mikael is working 30% of his time for Mid Sweden University MIUN as research coordinator in the Paper Four pilot project. In 2004 he was one of the founders of Sensible Solutions Sweden AB were he is managing director and responsible for developing the business cases of the products SenseSoft, WaterWatch, and CoolWatch (www.sensiblesolutions.se). Sensible Solutions was awarded the first price in the Innovation Cup, 2004, third prize in the Venture Cup, 2004 and was one of the winners in the Vinnova Vinn Nu program 2005.

Sensible Solutions is still a new company, building up its line of products and competence with negotiations taking place with several customers in Sweden and internationally. Sensible Solutions has its own office and laboratory space in the cities of Sundsvall and Östersund and is still in very close collaboration with Mid-Sweden University's Electronic Design Division.

 

The AAT concept, that had its first application in detecting moisture in diapers, is now extended to a variety of other applications. The research and development part of Sensible Solutions also works towards other new concepts in the area of RFID.
