Speaker Biography (David Cripe)

David Cripe is a Principal Electrical Engineer at the Advanced Technology Center of Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids Iowa. He is a 1984 graduate of University of Illinois, Urbana, with a BS Engineering Physics. He is the author of 28 patents, two journal articles, and has research interests and activities in the fields of highly efficient power amplifiers, magnetomechanical materials, energy harvesting, and power management. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Energy and Power Subcommittee of Industry Canada's Soldier Systems Technology Roadmap consortium.
