Speaker Biography (Casey Kang)

Casey Kang is the Corning® Willow™ Glass Commercial Technology Manager. In this role he is responsible for market development strategy and customer technical interactions. His organization includes product engineering, which provides day-to-day on-site customer technical support and works with the value chain to commercialize flexible glass. In addition, Kang is responsible for defining the product roadmap for the technology strategy.
 
Kang joined Corning in 2000 as a technical team leader focused on specialty optical fiber in the Corning Optical Fiber business unit. Since then, he has served in a variety of technology, engineering, and commercial roles and has worked in the Corning Display Technologies business unit. During his time in Display Technologies he spent three years on an expatriate assignment in Taiwan where he provided program and technical leadership to support Corning's large size LCD glass business. Before joining Corning, Kang worked at a small technology start-up company where he focused on developing and commercializing optical sensor technology.
 
Kang holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Kentucky and a master of science degree in Product Development from Rochester Institute of Technology.
