Speaker Biography (Timm Lohmann)
Dr. Timm Lohmann studied Materials Science at Aachen University, Germany, from 2001 to 2005. During his PhD between 2006 and 2009 he worked on topics of electronic transport in graphene in the group of Prof. Klaus von Klitzing at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Germany. After his PhD in physics he joined Corporate Research of the Robert Bosch Corporation, Germany, to work on beyond-Li-Ion technologies. Since 2011 he is responsible for Li-Air research and the monitoring of new developments in quantum and nanostructures for energy and sensor applications at the Robert Bosch Research and Technology Center in Palo Alto, California.
