Presentation Summary

Over the last few years, OLEDs have been making great progress in improving efficiency; however LEDs have been making even greater progress in achieving very high efficiency and much lower cost! Currently LEDs are not competing with OLEDs in general lighting applications. OLEDs are very well suited for small displays; however, LEDs are dramatically ahead in terms of efficiency and cost in general lighting applications. OLEDs and LEDs will coexist for a foreseeable future, each addressing a different application.
