Speaker Biography (Tim Cutler)

Tim Cutler is Director of Business Development - M2M Business for RFM. He has provided technical sales and marketing expertise to the company since 1998. Tim has over 14 years experience in the wireless industry most recently focusing on the IoT, M2M and WSN markets. During his tenure at RFM, he has been actively involved in both the ZigBee Alliance and the ISA on wireless sensing standards activities. Tim has spearheaded RFM's development of a wide range of wireless technologies and products as he firmly believes that no one technology is the best solution for all applications.
In addition to his wireless experience, Tim also has experience in the personal computer, computer networking, and battery industries, providing him with a unique perspective into all the various disciplines that come together in IoT and WSN applications.
Mr. Cutler received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also earned a master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University. Mr. Cutler holds two patents for microprocessor-based design awarded during his seven-year tenure as a digital design engineer.
