OPV, DSSC & Perovskites and Other PV Trends: Can it Match the Hype? (14:30 - 17:10)

14:30 - 14:55 "Flexible Printable PV"
14:55 - 15:20 "Up-scaling of Flexible Thin Film Plastic Photovoltaics for Energy Harvesting and Off-Grid Solar"
• The low weight, flexibility and excellent low light performance make OPV highly suitable for energy harvesting and off-grid applications in the near term.
• We will present and discuss use-cases for OPV representing various illumination scenarios.
• We will present the status of the technology with regard to performance, durability and Roll-to-Roll up-scaling.
15:20 - 15:45 "Efficient Organic Multijunction Solar Films Prepared by Vacuum Roll-to-Roll Production"
We report on the latest progress on oligomer based vacuum deposited tandem and triple junction solar cells. Efficiencies above 12% together with excellent durability are now routinely achieved for lab scale triple junction cells. The world's first fully integrated roll-to-roll-production tool for organic tandem junction solar cells has been successfully ramped-up and delivers high quality solar films with efficiencies above 7% on the active area.
