Presentation Summary

Biosensors in the form of artistic tattoos can be used to monitor metabolites in interstitial fluid. In this talk, minimally-invasive, injectable dermal biosensors will be demonstrated for measuring pH, ions, glucose and albumin concentrations. This multiplexed assay can be used to monitor acid-base homeostasis, electrolyte imbalance, diabetes and liver failure in point-of-care settings.
