In New Zealand, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry MAF officials are attempting to establish why a maize consignment has tested positive for genetically modified seed during a food manufacturer's quality assurance checks.. The home grown maize was stored in various locations. France, Greece and germany have been given warnings by the European Commission following failure to implement EC GMO legislation.
