EAVX and REE Begin Customer Evaluations of New Electric Walk-In Van
EAVX, a subsidiary of JB Poindexter & Co, and REE Automotive announced the companies' new fully electric walk-in van prototype will begin customer evaluation this summer. The class 5 vehicle debuts the EAVX body design powered by REE's modular P7 platform, making it the first fully drive-by-wire walk-in van on the market.

European cities soon to be ready for autonomous vehicles
Autonomous vehicles promise to be the next revolution in public transport. But for these new services to develop, we must first identify the needs and motivations of their future users and be able to respond to them, meet many of the technological and regulatory challenges, and design new business models. This is the aim of the 4 year AVENUE project consortium, with a total budget of 22 million euros and funded by the European Commission up to the level of 16 million euros.

A report from UITP-Busworld 2017
UITP-Busworld 2017 took place at Kortrijk Expo from the 23rd to the 25th October 2017. Running for over 40 years it is the worlds oldest and largest bus and coach exhibition. This year UITP and Busworld announced the first collaboration of their international bus conference in parallel to the Busworld exhibition.
Analyst Aman Atak was there to learn about new developments and products, as well as attending the conference, in parallel, on the outlook of electric buses in China.
