IPT Technology: e-Mobility Wireless Charging
IPT Technology design, manufacture, install, and service wireless charging hardware into a wide variety of electric vehicles. In 2021, IPT acquired the company Primove from Bombardier, which, among other things, has developed solutions for wireless charging of cars and trucks. Mercedes-Benz Plans Wind Farm at Test Track in Papenburg
Mercedes-Benz plans to build a wind farm at its test track in Papenburg, northern Germany, with an output of more than 100 MW to cover more than 15 percent of the annual electricity demand of Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Germany. As part of its effort to erect a double-digit number of wind turbines by the middle of the decade, Mercedes-Benz is also planning a long-term power purchase agreement with a partner, equivalent to a triple-digit million euros amount.

Only 275 units will be built in total, and job#1 of the exclusive production of the Mercedes‑AMG ONE hypercar has now begun. The first customer vehicles will be delivered in the second half of 2022. The Formula 1 based hybrid powertrain with a 1.6-litre V6 turbo engine and four electric motors is being built by the motorsport experts at Mercedes‑AMG High Performance Powertrains in Brixworth (England), who are also responsible for developing and producing the Power Units for the Mercedes‑AMG Petronas F1 racing cars.

Zendar: High Performance, Cheap Automotive Radar
Zendar is a start-up working on improving automotive radar. Zendar believes that current automotive radar is limited by the weak computational processing power embedded in the sensor. They suggest a move to a central processing unit with more computational power which can handle multiple radar front-ends at one time. This would be a similar architecture to Tesla in the way it handles its camera information.

Sysco Corp to Purchase 800 Battery Electric Freightliner eCascadia
Daimler Truck North America and Sysco Corporation have signed a Letter of Intent to deliver up to 800 battery-electric Freightliner eCascadia Class 8 tractors by 2026. The first eCascadia delivery is expected to arrive at Sysco's Riverside, California site later this year.
