Daniel Parr MPhys is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx. He started in 2024 and has focused on topics in the energy storage sector, especially in batteries and battery-related technologies.
Daniel studied Physics at the University of Oxford, graduating in 2023 with a Masters of Physics. His specialist areas were in theoretical physics and particle physics. As part of his masters work, he completed a research project on modelling atmospheric neutrinos at Super Kamiokande, developing and presenting a thesis on the effect of the Earth's geomagnetic field on neutrino flux spectra.
Daniel has focused on battery-related technologies at IDTechEx, with previous reports including Flexible Batteries, Lithium Metal Batteries, AI-Driven Battery Technologies, and Advanced Battery Pack Sensors and Remote Sensing.
Daniel has attended events and travelled for research on his topics, and has prepared presentations for customers and subscribers.
