Next2U Solutions

Next2U is an academic spin-off in Italy specializing in thermal cameras. The potential target applications include driver monitoring systems (DMS), pilot detection, and service robots. Despite an early stage of commercialization, IDTechEx believes that thermal cameras have potential in DMS.

Next2U Solutions has developed software to determine a driver's physical and emotional state based on algorithmic analysis of thermal imaging of a face combined with facial recognition software. IDTechEx interacted with a demonstration at the Huawei Smart Cockpit Workshop in December 2021.
