The Battery Show North America 2022 — Part 1

IDTechEx attended the Battery Show and Electric Vehicle Expo North America 2022 that ran from 12th-16th September 2022. It is one of the largest battery-related conferences worldwide with a focus on electric vehicle applications and technologies.
This premium article is the first of two articles covering key learnings from the conference and exhibition. Part 1 will give an overview of key conference themes (sustainability and security of supply) and cell level developments (solid-state and lithium metal, silicon, lithium-sulphur). Part 2 will focus on materials for battery packs and other advanced material developments.
