This session will describe practical automotive LiDAR design for high resolution 3D imaging of up to 300 meters. Jun will address key advantages of Cepton's LiDAR technology including its micro motion technique, which enables the energy efficient long range performance while keeping cost and form factor at the lowest level.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Pei worked in technology development at KLA-Tencor, a semiconductor metrology company. Afterwards, Dr. Pei founded AEP Technology, developing advanced 3D optical instruments for scientific research. After identifying a significant market opportunity and need for high performance, low-cost LiDAR solutions, Dr. Pei co-founded Cepton Technologies, a company that provides automotive grade 3D sensing solutions to the autonomous vehicle and other related industries.
