Expert-led training courses in key technologies, Seoul 8-10 March 2016
International analyst company, IDTechEx will be in Seoul for their highly regarded series of Business Insight Forums. Taking place at the K-Hotel, Seoul on 8-10 March, each expert-led Insight Forum will give you a thorough insight into some of this year's key technology areas:

Tuesday 8 March, morning session: Flexible Sensors, Conductive Inks and Stretchable & Textile Electronics

From disposable sensors to wearable technology, IDTechEx Analyst, Raghu Das, will cover forecasts, key players, case studies, the latest opportunities and technology plus market assessment. Sensors are playing an increasingly important role for enabling improved healthcare, wearable technology and the Internet of Things. While the biggest market for printed and flexible sensors is currently glucose sensors, a new generation of printed or flexible sensors are now emerging from R&D and the range of applications is vast. Tuesday 8 March, afternoon session: Flexible Displays, Barrier Layers, Batteries and Transparent Conductive Films

Raghu continues in the afternoon with a class on how Flexible OLED displays are becoming one of the fastest growing sectors in the display industry. Initially they will appear on plastic substrates and not flexed in use, offering the benefits of being thinner, lighter and more robust because no glass is used. An example is the OLED display on plastic in the Apple watch. The next phase is curved (with products already in the market) and then later flexible displays, which will all result in a market of $30 Billion by 2025. Flexible displays and lighting also require new materials and films, including barrier layers. These forums will both address the business and technologies involved - providing significant market data to allow you to understand these complex landscapes. Attendees will leave with a clear, quantified view of the markets, technology assessment and development roadmaps, key player profiles and their strategy for market adoption, with lessons from success and failures.

As well as hosting these Insight Forums, we are also offering four exclusive sponsorship opportunities.
