Chris has over 25 years experience in the creation, development and application of RFID products and systems. At Texas Instruments, Chris led the team that created Tag-it® "smart label" RFID technology, and this disruptive innovation was recognized by industry analysts Frost & Sullivan by the award of their Market Engineering Leadership Award in 1997. Prior to being recruited to RF Controls, Chris spent three years at Deloitte Consulting, co-leading the Firm's Wireless & Sensor Solutions practice, dealing with a diverse range of business transformation opportunities, across industries, through the application of change-enabling technologies. Chris significantly assisted in the creation of the RFID Research Center at the University of Arkansas, which is now recognized globally as a center of eminence and excellence. Representing Deloitte Consulting, he held a seat on the Center's Advisory Board. Chris holds numerous patents in the field of automatic data capture systems. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the automatic data capture industry, in September 2004 Chris was elected to the AIDC100, which is a group of the top 100 industry thought leaders and practitioners.
