A new chemical solution process was proposed to prepare highly conductive Al electrodes using an Al precursor ink. This approach is found to be very effective in the preparation of conductive features on rigid, flexible, and fibrous materials. A start-up company, producing Al ink and conductive Al film and textiles, was found and makes an effort to commercialize our technologies as soon as possible.
Speaker Biography (Hye Moon Lee)
Dr. Hye Moon Lee is a principal researcher of Korea Institute of Materials Science and a CEO of Alink Co. Ltd., a start-up company established based on his research results about an Al ink and highly conductive Al electrodes for flexible and wearable electronics. He received a BS and a MS degree from Kyunghee University in Korea and a Ph.D. degree (Chemical Engineering) from Hiroshima University in Japan. He is focusing on the preparation of highly conductive electrodes with several functions, such as flexibility and stretchability, using a chemical solution process and their applications to wearable & flexible electronics.
