Presentation Summary

• Electroactive polymers (EAPs) are intelligent materials uniquely positioned to provide biocompatible actuation at the microscale.
• Microactuated medical devices may enable better therapeutic outcomes.
• Enhancing reliability of EAPs performance will lead to their mainstream adoption in medical applications and beyond.
• SynapTech Discovery™, an EAP actuation testing platform, is on the horizon and is the first step towards EAP popularization.
