Speaker Biography (Cheryl Diuguid)
Cheryl Diuguid is CEO of GMZ Energy, Inc., a market leader in the development of high temperature thermoelectric ("TE") power generation solutions based in Waltham, Massachusetts with operations in Wuxi, China.
Cheryl has over 20 years of international experience leading and expanding company businesses and operations in global markets including Asia, Europe, South America and Mexico; from early stage startups to billion dollar divisions of multinationals. Her background spans a wide variety of technologies in Power and Energy (including, Lighting/LED, Sapphire, Fuel Cells, Industrial Batteries) as well as UPS, Pulp and Paper, and Telecomm.
She has held Executive leadership roles at Invensys Power Systems, Xerium Technology, Enersys, and GT Advanced Technologies and led early stage companies Vairex and Lumetric Lighting as CEO.
She holds graduate degrees in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke University
