Presentation Summary

The 2017 edition of the World Solar Challenge marks the 30th anniversary of the first event. The development of electric vehicles for mainstream use owes a lot to this biannual 3000km journey across the Australian Outback. By highlighting the areas in which solar teams have pushed the envelope of EV efficiency, the value and need for events like the WSC is illustrated.
