Speaker Biography (Ian Stevens)

Ian joined Touch Bionics as CEO in 2011 from surgical medical device company Mpathy Medical where he had been CEO since 2007. Between 1998 and 2007 he was employed by Optos plc, a medical technology company specializing in the imaging of the retina, firstly in the roles of CFO in Dunfermline, UK, and then from 2003 as General Manager, North America in Boston, USA. Ian is a chartered accountant and graduate of Edinburgh University.
