IDTechEx and Leatherhead Food International LFI are jointly staging their conference Food and Livestock Traceability in the Dallas Marriott Hotel, Dallas, Texas, USA on February 1-2 2006. Four participative Masterclasses will teach aspects of the subject - two on 31 January and two on 3 February. They are optional extras and they will be staffed by world renowned experts from IDTechEx, LFI and elsewhere. The subjects and leading tutors will be "Introduction to RFID" Raghu Das Chief Executive IDTechEx , "Introduction to Smart Packaging" Dr Peter Harrop Chairman IDTechEx, "Challenges and Solutions for Food Identification and Tracing" Peter Wareing Leatherhead Food International, "Introduction to Legal Issues" Leatherhead Food International.
 
During the conference there will be about 28 presentations from about ten countries, including The US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Brazil, Australia and East Asia to set a truly global scene.
