Wearable Life Science
Wearable Life Sciences was formed in 2014. They produce electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) devices for use in sporting and medical applications. Founders Philipp Schwarz, Kay Rathschlag and Patrick Thume come from buisness, marketing and sports science backgrounds. Their team now consists of 12 full time staff, including electronics, textile and software engineers, and an advisory board including the Head of R&D at a major German DAX company, and other prominent industry figures.

Wearable Technologies Conference Report - Munich 2015
IDTechEx attended the Wearable Technologies AG event in Munich, Germany on February 2-3, 2015. The event involved a two day conference and trade show tied to the larger ISPO tradeshow happening later in the week. The event brought around 400 people from the wearable technology ecosystem together, with many start-ups but also prominent sponsors of the industry, including lead-sponsors Intel and Flextronics.
