TM4 and Cummins: Evolving Strategies to Benefit from EV Surge

On May 11, 2017, traction motor manufacturer TM4 Inc. and diesel maker Cummins Inc. announced a joint effort to develop a plug-in hybrid powertrain for Class 7/8 transit buses that can reduce fuel consumption by at least 50 percent over conventional hybrid buses.
