Speaker Biography (Mario W. Cardullo)
Professor Cardullo is the noted inventor of the modern RFID (1973) and conceiver of Mobile Communication Satellites. He is a renowned technology author and was chosen as one of the 100 technology leaders in the Commonwealth of Virginia (1997-98). He was the US Chairman of the US-Australian Venture Capital Working Group, US-EU SME Equity Financing Working Group, Sino-American SME Financing and Cooperation Working Group and the Chairman of the UN Economic Commission for Europe Enterprise Working Party. In 2007, Prof. Cardullo was selected for the Engineering Hall of Fame of The George Washington University of Washington, D.C. and in 2010 was nominated to the U.S. Patent Office Hall of Fame.
Prof. Cardullo holds BME, MME and MEA degrees. He is a Registered Professional Engineer. He is an Associate Fellow of the AIAA, Senior Life Member of the IEEE and holds patents in electronics and mechanical devices and systems. Prof. Cardullo was awarded the Bronze Medal for Outstanding Service from the U.S. Department of Energy, received the Silver Medal of the Senate of France in 2004, honored by the International RFID Congress in London in 2006 and in 2010 was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award for NYU-Polytechnic.

The Archimedes Tracking Corporation (ATC) purpose is to function as a patent development corporation and develop, acquire, and lease selected patents and intellectual property deserving of immediate commercialization in the private sector or with governments on a domestic and international basis. One of the founders of ATC is Professor Mario Cardullo. He was the original inventor of RFID, various communication satellites, and holds numerous patents in a variety of technology fields. His tracking and nano RFID patents will serve as the initial basis and focus of ATC's commercialization efforts.
