RAMXEED

RAMXEED Limited, formerly Fujitsu Semiconductor Memory Solutions, was established in 2020 as a spin-out of Fujitsu Semiconductor and rebranded in 2025. Headquartered in Japan, the company specializes in emerging memory technologies, focusing on ferroelectric RAM (FeRAM) and resistive RAM (ReRAM) for standalone and embedded applications. With over 4.4 billion FeRAM units shipped since 1999, RAMXEED is a leading FeRAM supplier. In 2016, the company commercialized ReRAM technology and has since become a key player in the market, shipping over 25 million ReRAM units.

Blue Current

Blue Current, founded in 2014, emerged from the U.S. Department of Energy's Joint Center for Energy Storage Research with a mission to create safer batteries. Initially focused on safety, the company pivoted in 2016 to develop solid-state composite electrolytes, and by 2018, it introduced a fully dry solid-state battery featuring a high-silicon anode, known as the "silicon elastic composite" battery. Headquartered in Hayward, California, Blue Current expanded its operations in 2019 with a 22,000-square-foot facility and secured over US$30 million in funding by 2022. Multilayer cell demonstrations and pilot-scale production happened in 2023 and 2024. Blue Current works on solving four primary challenges of solid-state batteries: safety, pressure, temperature, and scalability.

Weebit Nano

Weebit Nano, founded in 2015, is a publicly traded company specializing in resistive RAM (ReRAM) technology. The company focuses on IP licensing, allowing foundries and semiconductor companies to integrate ReRAM into their products. Weebit has secured key partnerships, including CEA-Leti, DB HiTek, GlobalFoundries, and Onsemi, with Onsemi marking the first major ReRAM licensing deal in the industry. Its first embedded ReRAM product is manufactured on SkyWater's 130nm CMOS process, targeting automotive, IoT, and industrial applications. While its initial commercial offerings are at 130nm, Weebit has successfully demonstrated its ReRAM at 22nm.
